Over the past week since the last blog post, our team held several additional group meetings. I was also able to attend an interview workshop, participate in smaller breakout meetings, and engage with new readings and content that we discussed as a group. Alongside this, we continued making progress working with the Leganto team and conducted several surveys.
To break down this week more specifically, earlier in the week I worked to recruit about six students from different class years and majors to analyze the Leganto platform that Carleton has been investing in. The goal was to better understand whether students view it as a worthwhile platform and one that could see credible, consistent use moving forward.
The survey that another DSI intern and I created asked participants to walk through a series of tasks on our computer. These tasks were designed to test how intuitive the platform felt to new users, how easily they could navigate its features, and whether they could complete common actions without guidance.
