Winter Term Wrap Up

The last few weeks of winter term went by in a flash!
Things are moving:

  1. I’m practicing some Omeka front end development and getting used to the Git workflow. Austin and I made a “cheat sheet” earlier in the term, which lays out all the relevant workflow steps, and that’s been very helpful! Working on one issue usually reveals another open issue on Github that I haven’t yet gotten to…I’ll have my work cut out for me in the spring.
  2. Our group project is also coming together. Even through peak comps season Martin, Evan, and I have been meeting more consistently to talk about CGMR. The last week of term, we met with Victoria Morse to figure out our next logical steps.

I’m excited to take this momentum into spring term. For now, my spring break cheat sheet is:

-Sleep in until noon
-Enjoy bright sun
-Drink iced coffee
-Go on many hikes
-Repeat
